OUR OLIVE OIL

Stamatelatos Orchard, Private Reserve, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, produced from a First Cold Press. Imported from Kefalonia, Greece is available at Uncle Angelo's Pizza Joint located inside of Jerry's Nugget Casino. Priced at $25.00 per one liter bottle.

HARVEST
At Stamatelatos Orchard olives are handpicked when they are at their maximum weight, gently ripened and plump with oil.

SORTING
The harvested olives are then hand sorted, bagged and transported to the mill for processing.

GRINDING AND PRESSING
At the mill, an olive paste is created by crushing the whole fruit. The paste is then pressed to release the oil. This process requires no heat, thus the origination of the term "cold press".

BLENDING AND REFINING
Blending and refining are the next steps in perfecting the Extra Virgin Olive Oil to achieve the appropriate color, taste and aroma.

PACKAGING
Before the olive oil is exported Stamatelatos Orchard takes expert care in the final controlled processing and bottling to ensure the purity of its private reserve product.
